Sorting out catering equipment hire can be a difficult chore for those who have not had to it before. Getting the right oven hire is one of the bigger choices to make and getting that wrong can have dire consequences.

At Expo Hire Cotswold we stock both LPG and electric ovens for hire; knowing which is the correct oven to choose will depend on what they are needed for. Electric ovens for hire are the right choice for events and kitchens which take place indoors where they can be used with ease to bake, roast and grill food. However, because these ovens need large amounts of power to run they’re not suitable for use outdoors. The wattage required by these ovens is too much for temporary power supplies such as generators and extension leads, which will trip out easily while using them. LPG ovens like our six burner oven are the right choice for outdoors, as they use LPG bottles to fuel the oven’s powerful burners without a problem.

The quality of our stock has always been something that is important to us and because of this we frequently replace our ovens with new ones. This is especially important with ovens which are often the workhorse of a kitchen and allows our customers to order from us with peace of mind.

What kind of fridge hire is there?

Sometimes it can be challenging to keep drinks and food cold – especially on those rare days when the sun is blazing down. To help meet this problem we work with events and occasions of all kinds along with commercial and pop up kitchens throughout Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire to help with fridge hire needs. Our expert drivers deliver fridges to venues across the region frequently, helping to ensure that event organisers can quickly set up without worry.

We have many different fridges for hire on offer at Expo Hire Cotswold. Our glass-fronted display fridges are probably the most frequently hired fridge we offer, and are hired everywhere by people such as retailers, exhibitors and event organisers. We also have double door bottle coolers which are perfect for places such as pop-up bars to fit under counters. For those customers who need something a little bit more specialist in nature we also have wine fridges, counter top fridges and chilled drink dispensers.

We know how commercial kitchens need space to not only store and chill food but also to prepare it. With this in mind, we offer counter fridges with integrated workspaces which are designed for this specific need and which can be wheeled quickly into position with ease. At the other end of the spectrum, our extra large double door fridges are just what is needed for kitchens with large storage requirements.

Is there commercial barbecue hire available?

It’s hard to beat a big open-air event with food cooking on a blazing hot day in the countryside. Although a small garden affair can make do with a small shop bought bbq set, we know from experience that our commercial customers need commercial barbecue hire.

The barbecues for hire we offer have been selected with large outdoor events in mind and can easily feed hundreds of guests. The Cinders barbecue is an industry standard and features two separate cooking areas which allows for event organisers to have differing menus without fear of cross-contamination. We also stock gas bottles and wrenches so customers can be sure they have everything they need to get going.

Do you need to order gas?

All of our LPG equipment is supplied without gas bottles. Please order separately if you need them

  • 13kg LPG Bottles are suitable for patio heaters
  • 19kg LPG Bottles are suitable for all other LPG equipment we stock
  • 30mm wrench required to attach bottles to equipment - can also be hired separately
  • If unsure about connecting bottles to equipment utilise a Gas Safe Engineer

What do I need to know about catering equipment hire?

When ordering from Expo Hire Cotswold, you can rest assured that all of our equipment is cleaned, inspected and PAT tested prior to delivery. We can provide evidence of this prior to delivery if required. All of our electric products are powered by a standard three-pin UK plug. You'll need to check your power requirements before using, them to ensure compatibility.

All of the gas equipment for events that we hire are regularly cleaned, serviced and certified by a Gas Safe Engineer (evidence of this can be provided on request on booking completion).

All of our gas products are supplied with a hose and regulator, which attach directly to an LPG bottle via a standard bayonet fitting.

Please be aware that our drivers cannot attach or set up equipment for you. If you are not comfortable attaching the regulator to the bottle, we advise that you consult a Gas Safe engineer.

Do I need to clean catering equipment hire before it is returned?

Do you loathe the idea of cleaning catering equipment hire? If you don't have the time, the energy or even the willpower to clean equipment before collection, then our "send it back dirty" service is what you need.

We know how catering equipment can be hard to clean after a hire period of full usage; barbecues and ovens in particular can quickly get very dirty. Rather than breaking out the scourer, for just 25% of the hire price you can leave all the cleaning to us. Select the "send it back dirty" service in the checkout; wipe off any food debris or liquid and we’ll sort the rest.
