Send it Back Dirty
Planning an event or celebration can easily become stressful and time consuming. When it’s all done and dusted, it's not hard to imagine that the last thing you want to think about really is dealing with a pile of dirty plates, glasses and cutlery. With our “send it back dirty” option, you don't have to.
How does it work?
When you place your order, there is a box in the checkout procedure to add our send it back procedure. The fee is 25% of the hire price - but when faced with an alternative of a day in front of a sink with the marigolds on, it is easily a price worth paying.
When you've selected the send it back dirty service, all you need to do when your event is over is to scrape plates and bowls clean of any food debris, empty liquids from glasses and place them all in the packing crates they were supplied in. We then collect the items, and the lads at our warehouse will cleaning them professionally once they are back on site.
Is it just for crockery and cutlery?
You can request this service on other kinds of hire such as barbecue and chafing dish hire. Barbecues can be a nightmare to clean after a big event and paying for us to do it will make your life much easier. Likewise, catering equipment like gastro pans and chafing dishes can get very dirty from use.
We do not charge send it back dirty on linen. This is because all linen has to be professionally dry cleaned before it can be used again.
What happens if I don’t select “send it back dirty”?
If you choose not to use the “send it back dirty” service, that's absolutely okay. However, we expect all hire equipment without this service to be sent back in the same condition it was delivered in. There are some products like glasses that break easily while being cleaned so we urge people to take extra special care when doing this. All breakages have to be replaced at a cost of 10 times the hire price.
